• Sourcing: we shortlist candidates and buy retail samples anonymously.
• Electrical bench: sustained-load wattage, ripple and thermal imaging at 100% duty for two hours.
• Mechanical bench: connector insertion cycles, cable flex fatigue and a 1.2m drop sequence.
• Field use: four weeks of daily use by the team before a listing goes live.

If a sample fails on safety, we do not list it — and we tell the supplier why.

• Publish wattage or capacity figures we have not measured ourselves.
• Charge a restocking fee on an unused return inside the 30-day window.
• Sell customer data or share it with advertising networks.
